Compassionate Care
At New Pathway, mental health treatment begins with understanding each individual’s unique experiences and challenges. Our programs are designed to support individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional health concerns through personalized, evidence-based care.
We provide structured outpatient treatment programs that allow individuals to receive professional therapy and clinical support while continuing their daily responsibilities. As needs change, individuals can move between levels of care—including Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)—ensuring the right level of support at every stage of treatment.
Our team also specializes in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, often referred to as dual diagnosis. By addressing both emotional health and substance use together, we help individuals achieve more meaningful, long-term healing and stability.
Levels of care highlighted in blue are available at New Pathway. This page outlines the continuum of mental health treatment to help you understand how care can evolve throughout recovery.
If the level of care you need is not available at this location, the Guardian Recovery network can help connect you with the appropriate program at one of our trusted treatment centers.
What it is:
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide intensive daytime mental health treatment, typically 5–6 hours per day, 5 days per week, designed to stabilize symptoms and build coping strategies in a structured therapeutic environment.
Who it’s for:
Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health challenges who need structured clinical support but do not require 24-hour residential care.
What to expect:
Comprehensive care including individual therapy, group counseling, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and skill-building therapies focused on emotional stability and recovery.
Why it matters:
PHP offers a high level of clinical support while allowing individuals to return home each evening and maintain connection to their everyday environment.
What it is:
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide structured mental health treatment for individuals who need consistent therapeutic support while continuing daily responsibilities. Programs typically meet 3 hours per day, 3–5 days per week.
Who it’s for:
Individuals transitioning from PHP or those managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or mood disorders who benefit from structured therapy without full-day treatment.
What to expect:
Evidence-based therapies, group counseling, coping skill development, relapse prevention strategies, and psychiatric support when needed.
Why it matters:
IOP helps individuals strengthen emotional resilience and maintain progress while balancing work, school, or family commitments.
What it is:
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programs deliver structured mental health treatment through secure telehealth sessions, allowing individuals to access professional care from home.
Who it’s for:
Individuals who need flexible treatment options due to work schedules, transportation challenges, or other responsibilities while still requiring consistent therapeutic support.
What to expect:
Online individual and group therapy sessions, evidence-based treatment approaches, skill development, and clinical guidance provided by licensed mental health professionals.
Why it matters:
Virtual care expands access to high-quality mental health treatment while providing the flexibility needed to stay engaged in daily life.
That’s completely normal. Our admissions team will conduct a confidential assessment and help you find the right starting point for your unique situation.
